Releases/Final Roster Notification
As we move into player evaluations, NBDGHA will be adopting the following to help alleviate stress for our athletes during the evaluation phase of our season:
Upon arriving at the arena for a teams first on-ice session and registering at the Jr. Lakers table, players will be given a discrete number along with a pinnie. This discrete number will only be known to the player, parent/guardian, and the head coach and will be used to make notifications on who has been selected to move on to the next phase of evaluations, and eventually who has been selected for teams. This number is not associated with a players pinnie number during on ice sessions, as pinnie numbers and colours will change throughout evaluations at the coaches discretion.
At the end of each on ice session, and no later than 3 hours post ice session, or 9am the following day for ice sessions ending after 9:30pm, these discrete numbers will be used to identify players selected to move on to the next on-ice session of evaluations. The method of notifying those players selected to move on in the evaluation process will be via the North Bay Jr Lakers website, where a link to each team can be found. For those players whose numbers are not posted for advancement to the next on-ice evaluation, a note detailing the time and location for tier 2 and tier 3 evaluations will be posted as well as the process for those continuing to Jr. Lakers House League hockey programs.
